Tutorial Stack participates in affiliate marketing programs. This page explains our affiliate relationships, how they work, and the commitments we make to our readers.
What “affiliate link” means in plain English
When you click certain links on this website — typically those that start with tutorialstack.io/go/ — you are redirected to a merchant or affiliate network. If you then sign up for a free trial, purchase a product, or take another qualifying action, the merchant pays us a commission. That commission comes out of the merchant’s marketing budget. It does not increase the price you pay.
In many cases, our affiliate links give you access to exclusive discounts, extended free trials, or bonus offers that you would not get by visiting the merchant directly.
Affiliate commissions are how Tutorial Stack is funded. This revenue allows us to publish free tutorials, reviews, and buying guides without running display advertising, paywalls, or subscription fees.
FTC disclosure (for our U.S. readers)
In accordance with the United States Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose that Tutorial Stack has a material connection to the merchants whose products and services we review, recommend, or mention. Specifically, we may receive commissions, free trial extensions, or other compensation when you click our affiliate links and take qualifying actions.
This material connection exists whether or not a specific piece of content explicitly repeats this disclosure. To ensure clarity, we also include a short affiliate disclosure notice near the top of individual blog posts, videos, and landing pages that contain affiliate links.
EU commercial communication disclosure
In accordance with Directive 2005/29/EC (Unfair Commercial Practices Directive) and related EU consumer protection law, we disclose that content on Tutorial Stack may constitute commercial communication about the products and services we review. Affiliate links are clearly marked, and we identify ourselves as an affiliate of the merchants we recommend.
Our editorial standards
We take the trust of our audience seriously. The following principles guide every piece of content we publish:
- We recommend tools we use, have personally tested, or have thoroughly researched. We do not promote products based solely on commission rate.
- We honestly discuss drawbacks. Every tool has trade-offs. Our reviews cover both strengths and weaknesses, even when doing so might reduce conversions.
- Affiliate relationships do not dictate our opinions. If a merchant launches a poor product, we will say so, regardless of whether we earn a commission from it.
- We do not accept payment for positive reviews. Our reviews are not sponsored content disguised as independent analysis. Any sponsored content, if published, will be clearly labeled as such.
- We do not use fake scarcity or urgency tactics. When a deal has a genuine deadline, we say so. We do not fabricate countdown timers or “limited spots” pressure.
- We correct mistakes. If we publish inaccurate information, we update the content and note the correction.
How we choose which products to cover
We generally publish content about:
- Tools we actively use to run our own online business.
- Well-established products that meet a genuine audience need and have a track record of quality.
- New products that appear promising and worth evaluating, disclosed as early-stage when that’s relevant.
We decline to cover products we consider low-quality, deceptive, or harmful to our audience, regardless of the commission offered.
Our affiliate partners
Tutorial Stack currently maintains affiliate relationships with (but is not limited to) the following merchants and networks:

- Shopify Inc. — ecommerce platform.
- Semrush Holdings, Inc. — SEO and digital marketing software.

What you are not committing to
Clicking an affiliate link on Tutorial Stack does not obligate you to purchase anything. You can click through, browse the merchant’s website, and leave without any cost or commitment. If you do purchase, Tutorial Stack may earn a commission — but the purchase itself is a transaction between you and the merchant, governed by the merchant’s own terms.
Tracking and cookies
When you click an affiliate link, the destination merchant typically places a tracking cookie on your device. This cookie identifies Tutorial Stack as the source of your visit, so that any qualifying action you take within the cookie’s lifetime (often 30–90 days, depending on the program) is credited to us.
You can decline affiliate / marketing cookies at any time through our cookie consent banner, and you can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. We also honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals from your browser. For full details, see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
No liability for third-party merchants
Once you click a link and leave Tutorial Stack, you are subject to the destination merchant’s terms of service, privacy policy, refund policy, and other terms. We are not a party to the transaction between you and the merchant. We cannot process refunds, resolve customer service issues, or guarantee the performance of third-party products. If you experience a problem with a merchant, please contact that merchant directly.
